PNKSLM presents: angelic milk – “IDK How”
We first discovered angelic milk on Bandcamp over a year ago and was blown away by the music, even more so when we realised it was the project of a then-sixteen-year-old girl (Sarah Persephona) who was recording it all in her bedroom in St. Petersburg, Russia. Grunge-y pop tracks, teenage angst, insanely catchy melodies and lyrics, an incredible voice and song titles like “I’m So Happy (I Wanna Die)” – we were instantly sold.
Her debut single “IDK How” is out today on PNKSLM Recordings digitally with a super-limited edition hand-made vinyl (only 30 copies being made – instantly sold out) on its way. It’s been getting a great response so far from the likes of Stereogum, Consequence of Sound, NME, BrooklynVegan and The Line of Best Fit. With the release there’s also a Grimes-styled remix from fellow Saint Petersburg resident BLAST.
