Bobby Maguire announces release of infectious new single ‘Breathe’,
due to be released on the 31st of March.
From the sunny shores of Port Douglas indie rocker Bobby Maguire delivers his dynamic new single ‘Breathe’, produced by Mark Meyers and mastered by Grammy winner William Bowden (Gotye, The Living End).
‘Breathe’ delivers an evocative message of tension, conflict and division while reconciling with a reintroduction to grounding and consciousness. Written by the ocean and inspired by the likes of the Naked and Famous, Radiohead and Kings of Leon, ’Breathe’ incorporates elements of progressive rock, punk, pop and jazz to form a dynamic composition of pressure, release and resolve.
Music entered Bobby’s life at age fourteen after surgery at the Royal Children’s Hospital left him unable to play sports. It was then that his father bought him his first electric guitar and Bobby formed a rock band, who soon found themselves performing for thousands at music festivals before releasing two successful E.Ps, produced by mentor Danny Ross.
As well as winning crowds and competitions with his infectious songs and energetic stage presence, Bobby began hosting a weekly radio show before producing a music video for his song ‘Take the Bus Back’ which went on to feature twice on Channel Ten.
Bobby then went on to study a Bachelor of Music degree while performing in a variety of bands, music videos and showcases including a live show on Channel 31. Constantly adapting and reinventing himself, Bobby takes his ‘one-man-band’ to the next level looping guitar, bass and percussion onstage to deliver his captivating live show.
‘Breathe’ by Bobby Maguire will be released 31st of March 2017
