Arts council funded international showcase curator British Underground are celebrating their 15th birthday with a party from 6 pm on 16th November. Famed for music stages at international events like Austin’s SXSW and music collaborations such as the Brazil x UK Bass Culture Clash… they have made it to their ruby anniversary. Great music from rising grime stars Elf Kid vs Blakie, bashment sound system The Heatwave and majestic women’s choir Florence Lawrence chorus!

Come check out rising pop vocalist-songwriter/musician Emily Burns at The Sanctum Hotel on 30/11 (Stage time – 9.15pm) – a single launch party for her debut single ‘ Take It Or Leave It’ out this month – her previous single Homewrecker set hype machine on fire and we are anticipating a similar level of buzz around this next single a Sound Of Fractures collaboration – vocally she is getting compared to artists like Robyn, Alessia Cara, Nao etc and with all the buzz around her at the moment, she will definitely be one to watch in 2017.

RISING STAR EMILY BURNS CELEBRATES RELEASE OF DEBUT SINGLE ‘TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT’ WITH SINGLE LAUNCH PARTY AT THE SANCTUM HOTEL
Rising pop vocalist, songwriter and musician Emily Burns will celebrate the release of her debut single ‘Take It Or Leave It’ with a launch party at The Sanctum Hotel, Soho on 30 November 2016 – the industry event will mark the release of the new track, produced by Sound Of Fractures (Raye, Ritual and Miles Glyphers) – soon to set the internet alight with it’s subtle R&B inflections and tropical house textures. The track is her first single since the independent single release of HomeWrecker, which burst onto the upper echelons of the Hype Machine chart.
With her vocals and songwriting already drawing comparisons to artists such as Robyn, Alessia Cara, Nao and Jessie Ware, fans including established artists as diverse as Paolo Nutini, Gabriel and Bryan Ferry, a super buzzy show at Great Escape Festival earlier this year and imminent plans for a follow up single – all eyes will be on Emily Burns in 2017.
