On what as been a very sad week, The Cave Club will not only play their usual renowned selection of tunes, but will say thank you to the man that fell to Earth and changed our lives forever with a special tribute to Mr. David Bowie.
The night will also feature a live performance from LUST who twist their future perfect pop sound with a hint of Stereolab and My Bloody Valentine.
‘THE CAVE CLUB’, VALETTE ST, HACKNEY, LONDON E9 6NU
Times: 8pm – 3am Entry: £6
Evolving from Southend’s infamous Junk Club, The Cave Club re-grouped and moved to the capital to set up at the Buffalo Bar in Islington in 2007. After seven era defining years of its monthly residency, Cave was forced to move to pastures new after it was announced that the venue on Highbury Corner was shut down in December 2014.
Now one of London’s most loved and revered underground nights, The Cave Club has inspired many and been at the forefront of all things good in the capital’s ever changing nightlife.
Not only the best place in the city to dance, but bands such as TOY, The Voyeurs, Novella, Factory Floor, Telegram and Temples were invited to play their earliest shows to an unsuspecting, but eager club crowd.
