The new album, is due for released FREE on September 17th
"We’ll give the audience every bit of blood, sweat and energy we have. And then we’ll give some more." So goes the mantra from the Charlie Indestructible camp. And the driving, combatative sound of the ‘This City Needs a Hero’ album underscores this point with aplomb.
Released on September 17th the band have decided to embrace the music industry’s renaissance and give the album away for FREE as a download!! It is preceded by the dance floor filling single ‘I’m The F***ing Guv’nor’. (Check out the video below.
Detonated out of their home town of Luton, this fresh faced quintet blend the dramatic flair of early Funeral For A Friend with the soaring pop nouse of Young Guns and My Chemical Romance. For every foot stamping chorus there is a majestic riff… for every infectious groove there is a lifting melody. Like Jimmy Eat World mashed into Thrice, this is intelligent, passionate music.
Formed in 2009, the band have already made their mark on the increasingly bright and exciting UK scene, having headlined the BBC Introducing Stage at this year’s Love Luton Festival, played shows with Enter Shikari, We are The Ocean, Young Guns, Deaf Havana, Don Broco, My Passion (and more) and been the first band EVER to play live on a BBC Introducing show.
Having released their debut EP "My Sweet Revenge" in 2010 to widespread acclaim, they have built on these foundations to create debut album ‘This City Needs a Hero’. Due out on September 17th, there can surely be no stopping Charlie Indestructible from conquering the world, one show at a time.
Their reputation as a phenomenal live act is well deserved. Constantly pushing themselves to deliver a set that inflames as much as it seduces, the five guys are always looking to leave their audience breathless and shell-shocked.
