‘Space Between The Words’ is the debut album from Dan Le Sac and features a heavy mix of vocal talents. Artists who have contributed to this album include Emma-Lee Moss, Merz, Sarah Williams White, B Dolan, JoshuaIdehen, and Pete Hefferan. The album was produced during Dan le sac’s sabbatical from his long term partnership on the Hip Hop scene with Scroobius Pip which saw them in the top 40 album list with ‘Angels’ in 2008 and ‘The Logic of Chance’ in 2010.
This is not a hip hop album, far from it, with a wide range of influences ranging from electro-pop to psychedelia and everything in-between. Dark lyrics and haunting rhythms flow throughout the album making this an unusual but wonderful musical experience. The vocals from the various contributing artists keep things original and gives each song its own unique persona. From the haunting ‘Memorial’ to the industrial beats of ‘Good Time Gang War’ and the chilled out vibes of ‘Zephyr’ this is an eclectic collection of raw sounds that have been polished until they gleam. Edgy, versatile, and very moreish.
