SALTY DOG REVEALS 2015 LINE-UP
Set sail for the Stradbally Woods as the Salty Dog line-up has just been announced including King Kong Company, The Riptide Movement, Mad Dog Mcrea, R.S.A.G, Interskalactic, Buffalo Sunn and Opera Theatre Company, who will be performing a programme of opera favourites with a nautical theme.

Heineken Sound Atlas will return to Electric Picnic this year and will transport festival goers to Tokyo’s thriving music scene. Sound Atlas will include some of the country’s most energetic DJs, a custom built laser and light show and a host of other surprises as well as a Japanese-style Izakaya noodle bar, a ping pong tournament, a photo booth viewing platform, and karaoke, giving festival goers the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in an authentic Tokyo experience.
SHANE GILLEN PRESENTS THE MAGIC MUSH ROOM
Illusionist and mentalist Shane Gillen will be bringing a touch of magic to this year’s festival with his brand new tent the Magic Mush Room, offering Picnickers a new immersive festival experience through the art of magic.
ELECTRIC IRELAND POWERS THE 90s
Electric Ireland, Official Energy Partner to the festival, will be bringing the nineties to Stradbally with the legendary Mark McCabe who will perform a live set of Ireland’s fourth biggest-selling single of all time, ‘Maniac 2000’ and Eurodance group, The Vengaboys, will be treating fans to hits such as ‘Boom Boom Boom Boom’ and ‘We Like To Party’.

Dublin band Heroes In Hiding have won this year’s RTÉ 2fm’s Play The Picnic with Oxfam with their track ‘Today I Mean It’.
