Milwaukee-born, Brooklyn-based indie electro-funk duo French Horn Rebellion premieres cover of “Buddy Holly”: a funky, anthemic tune paying homage to Weezer’s 1994 breakthrough hit. In true French Horn fashion, they funk up this punk rock classic with hypnotic bass riffs, irresistible synths, and brass-laden rhythms that would make Lord Farquaad proud. Premiering via Pop Matters, “Buddy Holly” marks French Horn’s latest work since releasing self-produced album Classically Trained earlier this month via Ensemble Records.
