One of America’s top music festivals is fast approaching! Bonnaroo 2017, in Manchester, Tennessee, is a four-day music festival, featuring hundreds of amazing music, arts and comedy acts, alongside thousands of happy campers.
Spread over four days in June (June 8 – June 11) Bonnaroo 2017 features huge acts across ten stages, including U2, Red Hot Chilli Peppers and The Weeknd.
Where: Bonnaroo 2017 will take place on a 700-acre farm in Manchester, Tennessee, which is a one-hour drive south-east from Nashville.
When is Bonnaroo?
Bonnaroo festival runs from June 8th – June 11th 2017. The campsite opens at 8pm on June 7th – the earlier you get there, the better camping spot you will find.

Getting to the festival
The nearest place to fly to is Nashville Airport (BNA), which is 60 miles from Manchester, TN.
From the airport you can take a Greyhound bus to Manchester and from there you will have to make the one-mile trip to the festival site in a taxi or a friend’s car.
If you are driving all the way there, ride-sharing is recommended as heavy traffic is expected.
If you are planning on staying off-site, you can drive into the festival and park every day. You must obtain a day-parking-pass in advance, however.

Bonnaroo tickets are selling fast and lower tier tickets have already sold out – so make sure you grab your ticket quickly!
At present, a 4-day general admission ticket is $349.50 + FEES. This pass give you access to the festival and camp-grounds.
Meanwhile, a 4-day all-inclusive ticket is $554.50 + FEES, which includes transportation from Nashville airport to the festival site in Manchester.
If you are bringing a camper van, you will need a separate car camping pass. Meanwhile, if you are planning on staying off-site and driving in daily, you will need a daily car parking pass.

This year’s Bonnaroo line-up is possibly the best yet. Some of the top acts by day include:
Thursday: G Jones, Eden and Ookay
Friday: U2, The XX, Major Lazer and The Strumbellas
Saturday: Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Cage The Elephant, Chance The Rapper and Tegan & Sara
Sunday: The Weeknd, Lorde, Crystal Castles and Travis Scott
Meanwhile, comedy acts spread across the weekend include the likes of Adam Divine, Judd Apatow and Vanessa Bayer.

What you can’t bring
Festival regulations are tight, so it is worth reading-up on what you can and can’t bring into the arena.
Alcohol and food are permitted in the campsite, however can’t be taken into the festival arena.
There is a strict no-glass policy, so make sure that you decant liquids into plastic containers. Bring a refillable water bottle, so you can stay hydrated and fill-up at one of the many water stations located throughout the arena and campsite.

ATMS will be available on site, but fees may apply, so bring plenty of cash to float your weekend
Bring your own snacks to help cut costs
Always arrange a meeting point with friends, in case you can’t find each other and your phone is low on battery
Bring a small lock to keep your tent secure. Lockers can also be rented on site to store your personal items
