PREMIERES VIDEO FOR “TRY” ON NPR
Brisbane artist Hatchie (Harriette Pilbeam) released her debut song “Try” last month to overwhelming support. A simple upload to triple j Unearthed was met with praise from triple j presenters, Unearthed presenters, music industry, and social media alike – leading to the song racking up thousands of plays and a wash of new fans almost over-night.
Since then, the project has signed management with Jacob Snell of Monster Management who also represents Aussie acts Tired Lion, Cloud Control, and Methyl Ethel, as well as signing with Coda Agency – who reps artist such as King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard, Confidence Man, Savages, Daughter, Jay Som + more and will be repping Hatchie across the UK and Europe, and Paradigm Talent Agency (Years and Years, Tove Lo, Tame Impala, Bon Iver, Disclosure, Ed Sheeran, Halsey, Best Coast) for North America.
It’s an impressive feat for only one month, and with a spot add to triple J and FBi Radio, 2x weeks charting on the Spotify Viral charts, a feature on Noisey, Unearthed Feature Artist and now the video premiere on NPR, it’s only just begun.
