Jorja Smith ended 2016 with a sold out debut UK tour and followed this with a sold out debut US tour in January 2017… Towards the end of 2016 and beginning of 2017, Jorja found herself being tipped by more-or-less every publication and music platform going, including gaining a coveted space in the Top 5 of the BBC Sound Poll 2017. And, now, Jorja Smith is preparing to get back on the road with her band for a UK tour in April 2017.
Since releasing “Blue Lights”, Jorja has gone on to release the classically inspired “A Prince” which featured the vocal talents of Maverick Sabre and then the soulful Cadenza produced “Where Did I Go?” which none other than Drake proclaimed was his favourite track of the moment in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. Jorja then featured alongside Dre Island on the genre-bending Cadenza track “People” and, in November 2016, Jorja released her first body of work – an EP entitled “Project 11” consisting of 4 brand new, unheard tracks… the EP received stellar reviews and feedback from fans and critics alike and has been streamed heavily on Spotify and Apple Music and has received huge support from BBC Radio 1, 1Xtra and Beats.
