Scotland’s latest breakout band Kelvin, have announced the release of ‘Esmerelda’ from their current EP ‘Kelvin’ which was released in January.

The new single coincides with the band’s London show at The Black Heart in Camden on the 18th of February and is the follow-up to last year’s hit ‘Punching Bag’ which received heavy rotation across the airwaves.

Kelvin consists of Connor McGlave (vocals, guitars), David Gilles (lead guitar), Bradley Revill (bass), Michael Bigart (drums) all hailing from Glasgow. Following the bands triumphant start to 2015 with a sold out UK & Ireland tour as well as being tipped by Simple Minds for their promising brand of guitar music, Kelvin have spent the past year recording their upcoming self-titled EP, and have seen praise across the board for their energetic stage performances and songwriting skills.

The new single ‘Esmerelda’ was recorded with Grammy award winning producer Jim Lowe, who is fresh off the back of a UK number 1 album with Stereophonics.  Recorded at Grouse Lodge International Studios in Ireland, Lowe also produced the band’s debut single ‘Punching Bag’.

Kelvin are currently planning a UK tour for later this year and will headline the famous Oran Mor in Glasgow on April 9th. This comes nine months on from their first headline show, a testament to the bands rapidly growing following. More information and ticket details can be found on the bands official website.
