“fizzing hooks, buoyant energy, and tonnes of charm’’ – Clash Magazine
From busking on the streets to selling out shows across the country, UK indie rockers King No-One are roaring back with their new single ‘Antichrist’, which is out February 24th.
Championing a band ethos that everyone is equal regardless of gender, colour or sexual orientation, ‘Antichrist’ comes with a message about standing strong against the arrogance and narrow-mindedness surrounding recent events happening across the globe.
Frontman Zach Lout explains that, “’Antichrist’ is a sarcastic gesture to human history”. And to infiltrate hearts and minds it’s wrapped up in an inspired indie stomper, which features sly nods to late-90’s hip hop stylings.
2016 was an exciting year for King No-One, releasing new music in the form of the dancefloor anthem ‘Halo’ and firm fan favourite ‘Alcatraz’. They also took to the road embarking on two UK headline tours blowing away sold-out crowds across the country and have become one of the biggest ticket selling emerging bands in the UK.
King No-One have also made waves on the UK festival circuit with performances at the likes of Reading and Leeds, the Great Escape, Live At Leeds and Dot-to-Dot as well as headlining Club NME at KOKO in Camden.
The band have also been played by various DJs at BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music, BBC Radio 2, and Radio X and have received continual support from BBC Introducing who have now invited the band to perform at their showcase on March 2nd at The Lexington, London along with Ten Tonnes and James Cherry.
With continual demand from their thriving and ever-growing fanbase, King No-One have announced they will be heading back out on the road next month for another UK run playing their biggest headline tour to date.
