Caballo Negro the long awaited debut album from Swedish garage-psyche band Sudaskistan is released today via PNKSLM Recordings.
Having previously streamed the riotous ‘Concrete Djungle’ and the fuzz-laden ‘You And Your Way’, Sudakistan’s debut is a thrilling and unique take on garage rock, which fuses Latin rhythms and percussion inspired with reverb-heavy, acid-tipped psychedelia. As comfortable writing tracks about late night partying as they are speaking out on xenophobia in Scandinavia, Sudakistan invite listeners into their intoxicating world with this truly ambitious statement of intent.
Sudakistan have released a series of acclaimed EPs and singles since forming in 2012, gaining plaudits from the likes of Pitchfork, DIY and Noisey. Their live show and infectious party spirit has garnered a cult reputation, seeing them share stages with the likes of GOAT and playing festivals including Liverpool Psyche Fest and The Great Escape.
Caballo Negro by Sudakistan is out now via PNKSLM Recordings. The band are plotting their live return to the UK for early 2016.
