Le Volume Courbe – don’t play rock’n’roll, and don’t play world music. It’s out-of-this-world music. It’s in-your-own-world music, what-in-the-world music.
The unique and exceptionally talented 7 piece, who recently toured with My Bloody Valentine, headline the magical St Pancras Old Church on July 10th.
Le Volume Courbe fronted by London based singer songwriter Charlotte Marionneau lyrics are soulful and endearing, but at the same time slightly eerie, lending an extra dimension to the dreamily powerful songs of innocence and intrigue. The St Pancras Church is the perfect setting for Le Volume Courbe in what promises to be evening of wonderment that will will leave you breathless.
Special guest for the show are Younghusband who will be performing a stripped back set of hypnotic psych pop. Their influences stem from bands such as Felt, Stereolab, The Velvet Underground and Television Personalities. Younghusband’s debut album produced by Nicolas Vernhes (Deerhunter, Silver Jews, Animal Collective) is set for release on Sonic Cathedral Records in the late Summer.
