“Lights That Change is an alternative dreampop ethereal wave outfit, hailing from North Wales” the band tell no lies here, as  they deliver the own creative remit with ease it appears. ‘Voices’ walks a delicate bath part etheral, part alternative, something the trio have confidently achieved alongside producer Fran Ashcroft (Damon Albarn, Lords of Acid). Over the past year, Lights That Change have undergone a reformation, with Mandy Clare on vocals, John Bryan on bass and Marc Joy on guitars. They are now gearing up to release their debut LP ‘Byzantium’, which will be ready for release this summer and includes guest vocals by Rebecca Palin (Golden Fable) and drums by Mal Holmes (Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark).

From the sound of ‘Voices’ the new facets fit together, Lights That Change have delivered a healthy darker pop come lighter alternative manna with this single, all bodes well. 8/10
