Electronic punk-sounding music or punk sounding like electronic music, that is the question?
A Slovenian trio is one of those line-ups that delve into the unknown. A year and a half after their debut Passion For Red (Kapa Records, 2012) here’s two “refreshed” tracks.
Made In (alpha male mix) and Večernji program (anal. verzija) are the titles for the new versions of the two tracks that are also present on their debut. The first one was re-recorded and has a fresh video, the second comes in a punk version full of distorted guitars.
The second video by the band was actually made in a collaboration of three Slovenian bands – 3/5 The Canyon Observer, 1/3 Trus! and of course Ludovik Material. Simon Intihar (the drummer for The Canyon Observer) is the director of the visual images which feature actors Iztok Jug Drabik and Jelena Rusjan (the voice and bass of Trus!). As the band trashed many concert stages in the past 18 months and has a tone of new experience, the members decided Made In needs a new sound. They re-recorded the track in the studio In Audio We Trust. Jure Vlahović took care of mixing and finally Igor Vuk mastered the song.
Double single is available in physical form and of course as a digital download (name your price). The CD is available (on the web) in ultra super special limited edition – there will be only 11 unique pieces with different covers made by the three members of the band.
