Marc Scibilia Releases New Single; Featured In Jeep Campaign
June 16, 2017 (Nashville, TN) — Marc Scibilia is back in the national spotlight with a feature in Jeep’s new ad campaign, Summer of Jeep. His song “On The Way” has been selected to represent this summer-long campaign across television, digital, and social channels. This nationally televised commercial also features an on-camera performance from Scibilia, that can be viewed at the video above. The single has been released on Scibilia’s own label Good Lander Records, under exclusive license to RCA Records, and is now available to stream and download at all digital outlets.
This campaign follows the re-emergence of Scibilia as an independent artist having recently released three singles on Good Lander Records, “Summer Clothes“, “Untamed,” and “Happy Xmas (War is Over)” featuring Lennon Stella of CMT’s Nashville. Rolling Stone premiered the video for “Summer Clothes” saying, “The single is a gentle ode to reconnecting with a loved one, with a chorus that swells and soars over reverb-drenched vocals and electronic drums.” Since its release, the track has accumulated over three million streams at Spotify.
These new tracks are a continued effort by Scibilia to connect directly with his fans. After signing with Capitol/IRS Records and recording his debut full-length album, Out Of Style, with famed producer Butch Walker, his label abruptly shut down only one week after the release of his album in late 2015. That left years of writing and producing in limbo. Fortunately, Scibilia saw this as an opportunity to regain his independence as a musician, and once again began releasing music directly to his growing fanbase. His catalogue is being streamed 30 – 40k a day, and monthly listeners are upward of 900k.
2017 has been a busy year for Scibilia, a Buffalo-native now residing in Nashville. He spent all of March supporting husband/wife duo Johnnyswim, and now Marc is beginning part II of his headlining Summer Clothes tour. Despite being his first headlining tour, Marc is a veteran musician averaging 120 shows/year, with support slots for artists including ZZ Ward, James Bay, Michael Franti, Zac Brown Band, Andy Grammar, Ben Rector, and Drew Holcomb & The Neighbors.
