New acts (embargoed until 12 o clock) confirmed include Deaf Havana, Swim Deep, Big Deal, Oscar, Black Honey, Cleft… and loads more! The festival is happening over the bank holiday weekend of 29th April – 1st May at the new location of the 02 Academy in Leicester, and the tickets for a full weekend are on sale at £30.
It’s a big one for the festival this year, making a further leap into establishing itself as one of the leading independent festivals. With another major announcement today, its line-up continues the trend of great new music that they’ve been earning with each year. The steadily-growing, Leicester based festival have previously seen bands such as: Slaves, The Twilight Sad, Honeyblood, Eagulls, Future of the Left, Toy and many more perform there. This year’s festival will also be run in association with Big Scary Monsters, Alcopop!, Last.FM and many more and will feature a whole host of music, art, comedy and film over multiple indoor stages. The festival also previously announced their new festival partners, with stage curation and involvement from UPSET magazine, Wichita Records and BBC Introducing confirmed for this year, proving the growth of the event.
