The Pacing Party
‘fine’ LP Now Available For Preorder
NEW YORK, NY – The Pacing Party unveiled the latest taste of their upcoming fine LP this week via Live In Limbo. NOTHINGTOSAY is a twisted alt.pop track complete with industrial beats, post-punk clattering guitars and fragile layered vocals.
Fronted by Daniel Gardner and fighting out of small-town Alaska via Portland, Oregon, The Pacing Party craft smart, ambitious pop music that draws from Say Anything, Modest Mouse, Morrissey and much more.
Debut album ‘fine’ will be released on July 28th.
Daniel Gardner on fine:
“‘fine is a search for truth, for identity, for meaning and purpose, for genuine love. It’s about the longing to be known. It’s this contrast between feeling shitty and hopeless, but simultaneously stupidly hopeful.”

About The Pacing Party
The Pacing Party is the brainchild and solo project of Portland based musician, Daniel Gardner, who summarizes his music as “Emo Pop” Daniel was raised in the small town of Homer, Alaska where his love of music was fostered. After graduating High School, he began honing his ability as a songwriter. Influenced and inspired by top notch songwriters including Jesse Lacey (Brand New), Adam Duritz (Counting Crows), Isaac Brock (Modest Mouse), Max Bemis (Say Anything) and Justin Vernon (Bon Iver), Daniel set out to write music that was as captivating and soulful as the musicians he admired. The subject matter of his songs largely chronicles the personal ups and downs of an optimistic, yet emotionally & spiritually jaded twenty-something. He moved to Portland, Oregon in 2016 to more seriously pursue a career in music.
