Pay No Respect – Hope for the Hopeless (released August 25th

Pay No Respect are one the UK’s hardest working metal bands and after two years of no new material being released come August 25th ‘Hopeless will be released through In At The Deep End Records. Their first recorded material with Jack Price on guitar and produced by Oz Craggs from Feed The Rhino. ‘Hope for the Hopeless’ has four songs that are all equally heavy, equally aggressive and as equally in your face as they can be. Songs such as ‘This World Is Ours’ consists of break downs that sound as if they’ve been picked out of the brains of bands such as Parkway Drive.

The refreshing thing about Pay No Respect is that they play music that is usually linked with guys with swept fringes, dreadful facial piercings and who are basically being heavy for the sakes of being heavy. Pay No Respect to sum it up easily just look like five normal guys who make heavy music free from any posing.

Pay No Respect have been making their name in the scene now and hopefully with the release of ‘Hope for the Hopeless’ this will push them even further in the right direction. 7.8/10
