PINS SHARE NEW VIDEO FOR ‘YOUNG GIRLS’ VIA NOISEY
NEW ALBUM WILD NIGHTS RELEASED 8TH JUNE ON BELLA UNION; LONDON SHOW ON 27TH MAY
PINS have just unveiled a new video for current single ‘Young Girls’ on Noisey.
“I wanted to play around with the usual ‘girls just wanna have fun’ type of music video. You know – friendship, solidarity, road trips and all the usual tropes of girly bonding. I wanted to take that wholesomeness and push it to a weird place,” said director Amy Watson.
This ‘weird place’ is reflected in a Thelma & Louise-esque twist. PINS’ Faith Vern said “The ‘Young Girls’ video is the tale of four girls, thick as thieves. They are dreamers, they are bold and they are bonded by a secret.”
‘Young Girls’ – the song – was recently premiered by The FADER, who described it as “a sunny-day indie shuffler that flows perfectly in time for the gentle winds of spring.”

The Manchester four-piece previewed songs from their new album at three sold out shows in February, while more recently they supported Sleater-Kinney, Drenge and Wire on their separate UK and EU tours. Later this month, PINS will play a headline London show on 27th May at The Lexington.
