Poor Michael release debut album ‘Reiterations’
“Hyper-tight, riff led psych stylings driven along by insistent drums and nigh-on funky bass lines to neat and wholly endearing effect” – KERRANG
Poor Michael comprise of:
Jack Pearce (Vocals, Bass), Andrew Bingham (Guitar, Vocals) and Chris Crouch (Drums).
Whilst many modern psychedelic rock bands are carefully following the manual for 60s psychedelia, Southern trio Poor Michael have skimmed through it, and decided to change it up. Creating a raw sound that is filled with rich Eastern-influenced riffs and visceral rhythmic dynamics; their approach to composition is fresh and authentic.
Whilst Poor Michael have honed their energetic sound through countless live shows and house parties, this debut album is a solid representation of the point at which the band find themselves; self-recorded and produced at home, the DIY aesthetic has been fully embraced.
With a live show that compliments the recordings in the best way possible, Poor Michael will be supporting the release of ‘Reiterations’ with a selection of shows around the UK.
