NEW ADDITIONS TO THE FOODIE LINE-UP!
We’re very excited to have Prue Leith with us this summer to host one of our Table Sessions. After a long and successful career in catering with Leith’s School of Food and Wine, she has since been a judge on The Great British Menu and has recently been announced as a judge on The Great British Bake Off. Prue will be sharing some entertaining anecdotes in her Saturday session entitled “One Greedy Woman”.
Melissa Hemsley is the younger Hemsley sister whose food business Hemsley + Hemsley pioneered modern healthy home cooking. Melissa is passionate about zero stress in the kitchen, packed lunches and turning leftovers into your next meal and spreading love through food. We are thrilled to have Melissa with us on Sunday to share recipes from her new book EAT HAPPY: 30 minute feel good food.
Master Pâtissier and founder of Cake Boy, Eric Lanlard has earned himself an international reputation for superlative baked creations for an impressive A-list clientele. He became head pastry chef for the Roux family at age 22 and according to Vanity Fair magazine, he’s one of the best pâtissiers in the world. He will be kicking off proceedings on the NEFF Big Kitchen stage on Saturday.
Leave the car, take the train!
As you all know, The Big Feastival takes place on Alex James’ beautiful Cotswolds farm which is only a few minutes’ walk from Kingham train station. There is a 90 minute direct train from London Paddington, as well as regular trains from Oxford, Birmingham and the surrounding areas.
If you are coming for the day and fancy a drink, or don’t want the stress of navigating the motorways, the train is a super easy option. Train tickets go on sale this weekend for the August Bank Holiday so why not get ahead and book your seats with Great Western Railway via our website.
It will be impossible not to bust out some serious dance moves as our Sunday headliners Madness take to the stage. We will be ending the weekend on an absolute high as the sun sets on another year at The Big Feastival, and “It Must Be Love”, “House of Fun” and “Baggy Trousers” playing as our soundtrack. See you in August!
