Atlanta-based rock’n’roll punks announce debut 7″ single Territory

Atlanta-based rock’n’roll collective RMBLR (pronounced “Rambler”) will be releasing their debut 7” single TERRITORY via Fat Possum on 17 February. It is a rabid rock and roll single that foams at the mouth with the snotty sounds of 70’s punk, snarling “buzz saw” blues riffs and a spit of hard glam, stadium stompin’ hooligan chants. It’s a raw, primitive style of American rock’n’roll, exploring themes of survival, war action and primitive human savagery.
The lead track “Name Game” was premiered by Impose, who said that: “It’s an upbeat hip swayer that gets your adrenaline pumping immediately, and we’re sure to have it on repeat for the rest of the day.” Read Impose’s q&a with the band here.
RMBLR first banded together on July 4, 2016, founded by four mercenaries – Chase Tail (guitar/vocals), Alex Hagen (guitar/vocals), Jason Boyer (bass) and Jake Berry (drums) – who were active as the “Filthy Few” and were the touring line up for widely known, proto-punk sensations Dinos Boys. The mighty reign of RMBLR stretches down the east coast, with half of the band belonging to the boroughs of Baltimore and the other half making mischief in backstreets of Atlanta.
