Rodney Matthews releases Christmas CD I Saw Three Ships and Exclusive Art

Artist and designer Rodney Matthews, famed for his fantasy artwork that has graced albums by Magnum, Praying Mantis, Nazareth, Eloy and Scorpions, is also a noted drummer and released his version of I Saw Three Ships for Christmas 2014, featuring members of Magnum and Yes, and made it available at the time for close friends and music contacts.

This CD (with its card, replicating the original 2014 format) sees Rodney now making the track commercially available at https://goo.gl/IsZUu9, in both unsigned (£6.00 + p&p) and signed by Rodney (£16 + p&p) options.

Alongside Rodney on the CD are;

Jeff Scheetz (guitar);

John Payne (bass, ex Asia)

Oliver Wakeman (keyboards, Yes)

Pete Coleman (bagpipes and recorder);

Bob Catley (vocals, Magnum/Avantasia)

Rodney Matthews on Drums.

Alongside his artwork, Rodney has been a long time drummer and had previously recorded with Sqidd and also with Rudi Dobson (the latter on The House On The Rock, featuring Magnum’s Tony Clarkin).

This release brings some previously rare material to a wider audience and is a wonderful rocking version of a Christmas classic.
