Single Out 3rd December 2015
Compared to: MGMT, Yazoo and early Depeche Mode
“The Swedish electronic duo dropped this sparking slice of dance-pop that mixes modern-day rave synths with throwback house vocals. It’s the latest taste of their debut album, expected later this year. Consider us officially pumped.” (FUSE TV)
“Swedish duo Sameblod’s “Flourish” is a magnificent slice of dance-pop, a flurry of ravey synths and nostalgic vocals” (The Fader)
“On their latest, the Sweden-by-San-Francisco duo whip up a twinkling, tropical dance jam that sounds like Thomas Mars singing over dreamy, old school Cut Copy.”(All Things Go)
Sameblod are a Scandi electro-pop duo, whose previous single was chosen as FUSE TV’s ’10 Best Dance Songs’, are about to release their much anticipated new single called ‘Fade Out’. Frederick and Mikael describe their music as “hopeful-electronic-mellow-pop with a lot of different influences” and ‘Fade Out’ is a great representation of that particular statement.
‘Fade Out” is clearly made for those who love the modern-ified and redesigned ‘80s electro-pop galore mixed with a sophisticated sound that is quite simply unique to Sameblod, The recent sonic comparisons include the likes of MGMT and Passion Pit. The story, however, doesn’t end on the production… The sentimental vocal line, delivered in a very powerful yet relaxed manner, is guaranteed to hit the listener right in the ear and the heart, whilst irrefutably leaving everyone humming the hooky choruses over and over and over…
‘Fade Out’ will be available for sale and download via Sommarhjärta Label everywhere on the 3rd December 2015.
