Devon based singer-songwriter Small Town Jones (Jim Jones) releases his new album “Sky Down To The Ground” in November 2015. It is released on Domestico Records, an independent imprint owned by Small Town Jones and his label partner Peter Bruntnell.
Having successfully crowd funded the album back in January, Jim chose to record his latest collection of songs close to home, in Basement Studios in Mortehoe, on the North Devon coast. Produced by Peter Bruntnell, the album features the musicianship of Jim’s long time musical compadres David Little and new drummer Mike Reed. There are also guest appearances from singer-songwriter Emily Barker on the haunting track “The Long Goodbye”, as well as the guitar & fiddle playing of U.S. band Son Volt’s Dave Boquist.
