Dutch Rockers St. Tropez Reveal Blistering New Track ‘Son Of God’
Garage punk outfit St. Tropez have revealed their latest single Son Of God. The track, mixed by Spring King’s Tarek Musa, is about self-sufficiency in a context of faith and asceticism, stating we have to save ourselves instead of seeking salvation in religion and serves as the perfect conclusion to what has been a highly successful year for the Dutch band.
The Amsterdam quartet released their self-titled debut EP (mixed by Tarek Musa) earlier in 2015 and attracted plenty of fanfare for their first single ‘I Don’t Wanna Fall In Love’ with coverage on the likes of NME and DIY. Widespread radio airplay on BBC Radio 1 and XFM and their inclusion in Spotify’s ‘Best New Music’ playlist has since followed and another track ‘Cut Me Loose’ is currently being used for a worldwide Toyota campaign.
