Tove Lo has announced she will release her debut album ‘Queen Of The Clouds’ in the UK on May 11th through Polydor Records. The Swedish singer-songwriter’s highly anticipated release follows her spectacular breakout success in 2014. Debut single ‘Habits (Stay High)’ scored Tove Lo a top ten hit in the UK and 32 other countries with worldwide sales of over 3.8 million, amassing over 215 million Youtube views, 304 global million streams on Spotify and 24 million on Soundcloud.

Tove Lo’s story may just be beginning in the UK but ‘Queen Of The Clouds’ has dominated charts across the globe over the last six months racking up an impressive 800,000 album sales. Lead tracks like ‘Habits (Stay High)’ and ‘Not On Drugs’ have been mainstays on US radio and TV alike and the Hippie Sabotage remix of ‘Habits (Stay High)’ generated over 265 million streams on Spotify, picking up Top 10 positions in 32 markets across the world. The track is now certified 3 x Platinum in the US and gold here in the UK. After triumphant showings at SXSW, show-stopping performances on Jimmy Kimmel Live and The Tonight Show, and playing to packed houses on her first North American tour, Tove Lo will return to UK shores on March 30th with a show at London’s Koko. 27-year old Tove Lo is a graduate of Stockholm’s prestigious and rigorous Rytmus Music school, a springboard for young Swedish artists like Robyn, Erik Hassle, and Amanda Mair. As a member of Max Martin and Shellback’s writing collective, Tove earned her first cuts with her compositions “We Got the World” (Icona Pop) and “Something New” (Girls Aloud).
