GRAMMY-nominated, platinum-selling JHart streams single Memoires
GRAMMY-NOMINATED HITMAKER JHART RELEASES NEW SINGLE ‘MEMORIES’, MARKING A SOULFUL NEW CHAPTER IN HIS ARTISTRY
THE ACCLAIMED SONGWRITER AND RECORDING ARTIST EMBRACES A NOSTALGIC, SOUL-BARING ERA INSPIRED BY ’70s SONICS AND POST-BREAKUP GRATITUDE

[12th June 2026] Today, GRAMMY-nominated, platinum-selling singer-songwriter and seven-time Billboard No. 1 hitmaker JHart releases his new single, ‘Memories’, offering the first glimpse into a striking new creative chapter that places his artistry, voice, and emotional storytelling firmly at the forefront. Known throughout the industry as the songwriter behind records for Justin Bieber, Sabrina Carpenter, Troye Sivan, Usher, Durand Bernarr, Tate McRae, and more, JHart has long established himself as one of music’s most sought-after collaborators. With ‘Memories’, however, the Los Angeles-based artist steps further into his own spotlight, delivering a sound that feels intimate and timeless.
Inspired by the warmth and emotional depth of 70s-influenced yacht rock, ‘Memories’ trades heartbreak clichés for something more nuanced. Anchored by rich live instrumentation, soaring vocals, and a tinge of nostalgia, the single reflects on a past relationship not through resentment or longing, but through appreciation for what once was.
“‘Memories came from a place I hadn’t seen represented often in music – post-breakup gratitude,” says JHart. “Not longing, not heartbrokenness, but a bittersweet appreciation for something that was beautiful and had run its course. I wanted to capture that curiosity of wondering if the other person felt it too.”
As the first release in a forthcoming series of new music, ‘Memories’ signals both a sonic and visual evolution for JHart rooted in classic songwriting traditions, live musicianship, and understated performance. Embracing a more stripped-back and soulful aesthetic, the release further establishes him not only as a celebrated songwriter behind some of pop music’s biggest names, but as a compelling recording artist and vocalist in his own right.
Over the course of his career, JHart has amassed over 130,000,000 streams globally, while also performing on stages worldwide alongside artists like Kygo. His 2023 debut EP, The Wishing, The Wanting, The Longing, introduced audiences to his emotionally rich songwriting and distinctive vocal style through standout releases including ‘Ripe’ and ‘If There Really Is a God’. Beyond music, JHart expanded his cultural footprint through his appearance on Netflix’s global hit series Hitmakers, which aired in more than 190 countries worldwide.
JHart’s ‘Memories’ is available now across all major streaming and digital platforms. Listen and download HERE.
