ATTENTION, EARTHLETS – 2000 AD Prog 2466 is OUT NOW!

I am The Mighty Tharg, the mean green Thrillgenerating machine and alien editor of 2000 AD!

Having lived among you humanoids for nearly fifty years, I’ve become accustomed to absorbing your cultural lodestones, and one recent event was the finale to eightiessampling televisual behemoth Stranger Things.

It occurred to me, as I processed the villain’s plan to drag another reality towards Earth via the bridge of the Upside Down, that it wasn’t too dissimilar to what I’m attempting with the Galaxy’s Greatest Comic — that is, through this illustrious organ, I’m ushering forward your future and embedding it into this reality. The closer the future gets, the more elements from it steal into your present.

Take, for example, the Carroll & Higgins droids’ Dreadnoughts, which explores the early days of Justice Department — and then witness the National Guard currently patrolling US cities. Coincidence? Nope, that’s the future I warned you of edging closer…

Anyway, you can read the finale to the latest Dreadnoughts arc in Meg 488, which is out now, and also features the start of both a new Dredd story and SF football saga Rok the World!

2000 AD Prog 2466 is out now from all good newsagents and comic book stores, plus digitally from our webshop and apps! Don’t forget that if you buy an issue of 2000 AD in the first week of its release then postage in the UK is free!
