PROG 2481 OUT NOW

ATTENTION, EARTHLETS – 2000 AD Prog 2481 is OUT NOW!

Call me Tharg The Mighty, for I am the emerald alien editor at the helm of this illustrious organ!

There’s a quite remarkable milestone this week — the Judge Dredd Complete Case Files series has reached volume fifty! These collections, compiling every Dredd story from the pages of the Galaxy’s Greatest and the Megazine in order of publication, have been a mainstay of my empire since 2005, and indeed the first volume remains my bestselling graphic novel, having had yet another reprint last year.

While packaging up every Dredd strip into convenient, phonebook-sized tomes seems these days, in your Terran terms, a no-brainer, this was the first time it had been done — Titan’s old albums in the eighties picked and chose select stories, and the newsstand titles Best of 2000 AD Monthly and The Complete Judge Dredd could only go so far. But the Case Files has been a runaway success, with an audience returning again and again to pick up each new volume.

Now we’re at fifty, reprinting tales from 2010-2011, some thirty-odd years after the lawman made his first appearance — such numbers could make your head spin, my Squaxx!

2000 AD Prog 2481 is out now from all good newsagents and comic book stores, plus digitally from our webshop and apps! Don’t forget that if you buy an issue of 2000 AD in the first week of its release then postage in the UK is free!
