ATTENTION, EARTHLETS – 2000 AD Prog 2485 is OUT NOW!
Call me The Mighty Tharg, the all-powerful alien editor of this circuit-shattering SF weekly!
A shift of focus this prog, Terrans, in the Oubliette mega-epic as we cut back to Mega- City One for the first of what will be several Finders episodes, with art-bot Jake Lynch joining script-droid Ken Niemand on these interludes.
With Dredd strangely absent — and no one seemingly being able to remember the name — and the metropolis under psychic attack following the manifestation of the Black Tower (see Meg 492 for all the head-spinning deets), it falls upon former psi-Judge turned private investigator Lana Locke (introduced in Prog 2470) to team up with fellow P.I. Joe Fargo and find out just what the drokk’s going on…
Elsewhere, joining Helium, Silver and Brink this issue is the return of Ben Wheatley & Simon Coleby’s Judge Dee, picking up the action after its mid-series break in February. The demonpossessed psi-operative Dee has discovered a Sov plot to free the spirit of Leroy Tamerlain (The Haunting of Sector House 9’s psi-perp) from the walls of Bleeke Mansion. Cue the spectral fireworks!
Enjoy, my Squaxx, enjoy…
2000 AD Prog 2485 is out now from all good newsagents and comic book stores, plus digitally from our webshop and apps! Don’t forget that if you buy an issue of 2000 AD in the first week of its release then postage in the UK is free!

Constable Hodge was tasked with protecting him, but it came at great cost…

SILVER // MALIGNANT, Part Nine
Earth, the year 2001. A group of armed survivors sought out the resting place of a five hundred-year-old vampire, who may just help them against the alien Sepsis, who invaded the planet a few decades earlier. The vamp, called Baroness DeSilva, has proved powerful in battling the extra-terrestrials, and now, having aided the rebels in destroying Sepsis infrastructure, has just been instrumental in blowing up a nuclear facility…

BRINK // THE CALL OF THE VOID, Part Fourteen
The late 21st century, and through environmental catastrophe and industrial overload Earth has been reduced to a wasteland. Mankind finally evacuated the planet in 2072 and millions were housed in a number of deep-space Habitats. But life on these cramped, overcrowded stations is tense, often spilling over into madness. Sects are rife, and Bridget Kurtis of the Habitat Security Division is investigating their reach…
