UK’s alternative pop artist Charlotte OC shares her second song “Freedom” HERE from her forthcoming Oh The Agony, Oh The Ecstasy EP, which is set to drop in Spring 2019 and follows the success of her debut album Careless People. Billboard exclusively premiered  “Freedom” HERE, stating “finds the singer-songwriter hurtling toward her titular freedom as she floats through the blackness of the unknown over churning synths, drums and howling production.”Last year, her single “Better Off On My Own” was played by Radio 1’s BBC Introducing and coincided with the critically acclaimed British artist’s support slots on James Arthur and Tom Walker’s UK tours as well as a coveted live spot on BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend.

Having amassed critical acclaim with earlier singles such as “Almost Mine” (10 million) and “Symphony,” (5 million) and having seen success with her collaborations with Jonas Blue on “Supernova”, which was included on his platinum-selling debut album Blue, Charlotte OC’s ready to release more music. Clash Music has described her as: “…you can find the drama of Kate Bush with the personal touch of Bat For Lashes – alongside with a sense of the epic to rival Florence & The Machine.”

NOTE:Charlotte OC’s upcoming Oh The Agony, Oh The Ecstasy EP is available for preview on request.

Recent praise for Charlotte OC

“New Neon Gold signee Charlotte OC, whose raw, raspy vocal is not to be passed up.” – PAPER“This heartfelt song will have you shouting along to the lyrics during your next car ride.” – NYLON“she blesses New Music Friday with another exquisitely-wrought, soulful synth-kissed anthem via new label, Neon Gold. It’s good to have her back.” – Idolator“She shifts seamlessly through an array of genres, including electronic, R&B, and gospel, using her soulful voice to carry the listener through what she considers her “own little time lapse.” – Interview Magazine“…sings moody, haunting must tinged with just enough electro-pop goodness to make it intoxicating and addictive.” – Noisey“a massive voice. Hers is the kind of vocal that soars—not in the way birds do, but rather that of jet engines. Just as it’s revving up, it suddenly blasts off into another stratosphere.” – Elle“channels the bewitching allure of Stevie Nicks and the big-throated finesse of Alicia Keys.” – SPIN
