The official video for The Lemon Twigs’ single ‘Moon’ is released today. Filmed during lockdown, it was directed by and stars Brian and Michael D’Addario, adding another string to their bow of artistic talents.
“We’ve been sitting on this video for a long time and I have a lot of people to thank so here w–oh my gosh!! I actually have nobody to thank but myself. Brian and I did everything; shot, acted, edited, you name it…filmed at the height of the pandemic when people didn’t even know if their own pajamas were COVID free, we struck out on our own and made an art masterpiece.” – Michael D’Addario

‘Moon’ is taken from The Lemon Twigs’ third full-length album, Songs For The General Public. Released last month, it also features the singles ‘Hell On Wheels’, ‘No One Holds You (Closer Than The One You Haven’t Met)’, ‘Live In Favor Of Tomorrow’, and ‘The One’.
Brian and Michael D’Addario wrote, recorded and produced the record entirely on tape at their Long Island home studio, Sonora Studios in Los Angeles and New York’s Electric Lady.. The D’Addario brothers first emerged as The Lemon Twigs in 2016 with their debut LP Do Hollywood, whose showstopping melodies mined from every era of rock quickly earned fans in Elton John, Questlove, and Jack Antonoff. Go To School, the ambitious 15-track coming-of-age opus, followed in 2018 and solidified the band’s reputation for building grand walls of sound around an audacious concept.
