Maps remix series with the release of EP4. Colours. Remixed
MAPS // COLOURS. REMIXED. TIME. LOSS.
MAPS, aka composer and producer James Chapman, concluded his remix series with the release of EP4. Colours. Remixed. Time. Loss. and a cassette collating the remixes together (includes a code to download high definition audio files).
The series’s phenomenal line-up includes Stephen Morris, TVAM, GLOK (aka Andy Bell from Ride), Russian Linesman, Barry Adamson, Polly Scattergood, C Duncan, Simon Fisher Turner, A Certain Ratio and more.
The final instalment features a remix of ‘Wildfire’ from GLOK (Andy Bell from Ride), who said “I randomly met James on a night out and we immediately hit it off. We’ve been fans of each other’s music for a while so it wasn’t long before we were discussing a remix swap. I loved what he did with ‘Pulsing‘, it’s one of the highlights of my remix album, and it was a privilege to work on ‘Wildfire’.”
GLOK (Andy Bell of Ride) remixes Maps’ ‘Wildfire’.
The series, which launched at the beginning of summer, has seen a whole host of artists rework and remix tracks from Chapman’s latest album, Colours. Reflect. Time. Loss.
