A reflection of the lockdown in blood-red pool, on razor’s edge in the death trap called household, the cowardly retreat into the private sphere, the horror of deceleration and in the end only the normal fear of being killed in one’s own four walls.

ZINN and DEATHDEATHDEATH sing about all this and more in the new uncomfortable single Angst. With the tracks of Nichi Mlebom’s guitar, producer Fazo conjures up a melancholic, honest midtempo gothic smasher that fits perfectly into the ghost train of everyday life. The realization that nothing will ever be as bad and ok again as it used to be, but that the eternally boring and rusty mills of everyday life only grind slower than before, runs through the song like a face shredded by a robot lawnmower through the green summer grass. Mixed and mastered by Lukas Wiltschko and beautifully gloomy video drawn by Leonie Bamberger.
