Blasser Kyren began as a diy solo project of T. Hazod in 2018 . A collection of self-produced bedroom pop compositions was released online in February 2019, an album called Scenes.

In the following months, the project developed into a complete band through the participation of befriended musicians of the Viennese scene. Several performances in Austria and Italy followed. In the same year the work on new material already began. The follow-up album Butter&Stress will be released in 2021 on Numavi Records in digital and analog form.
