In their new video Viennese garage meme gods, rock whizz-kids and beach grunge heroes BAITS metaphorically get even with wagework. In best black metal magic and optics, the four protagonists work and trudge through desperate 9 to 5 jobs, while guitars and drums press the bleak workday ahead.
But after hours, consumer obedience is over when they meet in the forest for nefarious malpractices.
The crazy contrast between indie grunge punk and corpse paint really takes the biscuit: The ritual dagger stuck into the belly of labor, the heart torn from the chest of capitalism.
In addition, the band performs like they have taken leave of their senses. But in capitalism, there is no happy end.
