[May 28, 2021] – Today, whiterosemoxie releases “Beeline” ft. Tom the Mail Man.

Transitioning out of the era of double singles, whiterosemoxie brings fans a vulnerable and emotion filled track. The opening repetitive arpeggiated chord loop alludes to the sentiments of the monotonous and emotionally draining relationship moxie and Tom describe in the lyrics. “Thinkin’ about the sh*t you said, is it true? But one look at you, restart the loop.”The song is fun and lively and further showcases his range in delivering euphonious multifaceted hits.  Lots ahead for the rising yet illustrious artist who is gearing up for a July EP.”

“Beeline” was one of the songs I had made a while back in October, and then I remember a couple months later we were going through all of the songs I had made and one of the favorites was Beeline. I went back and listened and thought, this needs something – I wasn’t feelin it all the way.” explains moxie.  “Then we reached out to my boy [Tom the Mail Man] and he hopped on the track. We were walking down Sunset Blvd when we got his verse back – we ran it back 3/4 times – we knew it was the one.”

With his accolades stacked to the top, moxie is definitely claiming his spot and working his way to stardom. His fan favorite release this year “0006TeslaSpaceForce”- watch video  HERE, was featured in Complex “Best New Music This Week“.

moxie was also chosen to participate in YouTube’s Global artist-driven ad campaign, one that garners an estimated 3 billion impressions. Past campaigns have featured stars such as Dua Lipa, DaBaby, Tones & I, Omar Apollo, Beabadoobee, and many more. He was even selected as one of 8 artist’s for Soundcloud’s Fortnite Tournament alongside 2kbaby, Tokoyo’s Revenge and host Rico Nasty, was a featured artist in the Detroit Metro Times “12 Metro Detroit Acts We Think Will Do Big Things in 2021”, and has amassed over 9 million streams across streaming platforms, still growing daily. moxie also introduces fans into a ‘visual language’ and universe of whiterosemoxie.

The track art for previous singles acts as a loyalty card of sorts, with each ‘stamp’ representing the specific moment in moxie’s musical history. A rose for the beginning, symbolizing the inception. This release introduces a second new character/icon that points directly towards the “Beeline” release. Both singles are a product of moxie’s unprecedented collaborative work ethic and with an incoming stream of new releases this year, he continues his ascent to becoming the most prolific artist in the game. There are exciting things ahead for whiterosemoxie.

The Detroit native may have just finished high school, but his music is starting to resonate with kids around the world. At a mere 18, “moxie,” who started making music after a near death experience, was named Pigeons & Planes Best New Artist of the Month (April). Until recently, he made all his music alone in his basement pulling beats offline, so it’s not surprising that his lyrics are vulnerable and introspective. His debut full-length studio project, white ceilings, which dropped back in March, has already garnered him the eyes of the industry with over 5 million streams. On white ceilings, moxie encapsulates the energy and diversity of his and his peers’ high school experience growing up on Detroit’s west side as he looked towards graduation and his future.

The white ceilings they see everyday hanging out in basements become moxie’s metaphor for removing the ceilings people try to put on his limitless potential.Consisting of melodic rap, R&B and trap influences, mixtape grae ceilings picks up where his debut project, white ceilings, left off, documenting the upheaval that has since ensued and the grey area he feels himself and the world trapped in: COVID cutting his senior year short and leaving him and his friends with a zoom graduation and no prom; getting a record deal but not being able to go to studios or tour; turning 18 and moving out on his own but being quarantined away from his friends; tasting the freedom of adulthood, but the daily news cycle reminding him that he and his people are not really free in a country where they can be killed any day.  whiterosemoxie notes that grae ceilings is a reminder that in all the grey area and this time of transition, the people around you have to be the rock and foundation.  Stream grae ceilings HERE.   whiterosemoxie shares video for "Beeline" ft.
