The Who: What did Roger think was a stroke of genius?
What did Roger think was a stroke of genius?
“‘Heinz Baked Beans’…this is a time just after the Goon show and all those radio shows where this kind of thing, they’d be comedy sketches. But to turn them into adverts, again, was just a stroke of genius. – Roger Daltrey
Lyrics:

What’s for tea, Mum?
What’s for tea, darling?
Darling, I said, “what’s for tea?”
What’s for tea, daughter?
Heinz baked beans
Did You Know?
Roger Daltrey bathed in a bathtub filled with real Heinz baked beans for the cover of the album The Who Sells Out.
