Rising star Frankie Beetlestone, a 19 year old singer/songwriter from Outerbridge in Sheffield, today releases his new single ‘TIL’4’ via Platoon.
‘TIL’4’ follows his debut single ‘Sober Again’, an ode to “hangxiety” and the morning after the night before, which established Frankie as a new distinctive voice in British genre-melting indie pop. With ‘TIL’4’, which is about rekindling a dwindling romance, Frankie continues to prove himself as one of the most exciting young artists to watch in 2021, especially as self-writes & produces all of his music from his bedroom in Sheffield. Frankie’s music is unforgivingly genre-bending, exploring tumultuous relationships, heartbreak, the ache and pleasure of growing up.
Speaking about the track, Frankie says “‘I suppose TIL’4 is really about a long distance relationship. It’s about holding on until you think you can’t take it anymore, and then being completely thrown back into the deep end when you see the person again. It’s like no matter how stubborn you are with each other, you meet up and something clicks… I think you get that when you’ve been with someone for a long time.’”
