Wild Pink are today sharing their 3 Songs EP, their follow up to A Billion Little Lights, one of the year’s most critically revered albums. Lush, expansive and atmospheric, it follows news of the band’s co-headline full US tour with Ratboys (full dates below), as well as their 6 Cover Songs EP that saw vocalist John Ross giving Taylor Swift, Carly Rae Jepsen, Bruce Springsteen and more to the Wild Pink treatment.

On the EP, Ross explains: “These tunes came from the ABLL session, and they feature contributions from Samia and San Fermin’a Ellis Ludwig-Leone. They felt different to the tracks from the LP, so I wanted to give them their own space to flourish. “Ohio” and “A Scene From The Eau Gallie Causeway” were both written on tours, one with Adam Torres and the other with Ratboys while in Europe, who we can’t wait to hit the road with again. All three songs are pretty firmly rooted in specific places – for instance, “A Scene…” is named for a causeway in my hometown.”
3 Songs sees Ross sharing some cuts from the A Billion Little Lights sessions, following its release in February to widespread acclaim. Having been hailed as “one of the most exquisitely pretty rock albums in recent memory” by Stereogum and named “2021’s best rock album“ by NY Mag/Vulture, it saw additional praise from the likes of NPR, New York Magazine, Pitchfork, The AV Club, Uproxx, Paste, MTV, FADER, Consequence, BrooklynVegan and many more. The follow up 6 Cover Songs saw admiration from both Billboard and the r/indieheads community, as well as landing Ross a KEXP Live At Home Session.
Wild Pink’s 3 Songs is out now via Royal Mountain Records. It is available here.
