Today, Tune-Yards announce an eclectic new web series, sketchy.tv, directed by Dominic Mercurio and based on their critically acclaimed fifth studio album, sketchy.
The 4-part series parallels sketchy. in its world of joy grounded by serious undertones. The series includes exclusive Tune-Yards content and performances from their studio, dubbed The Bot Cave, with each episode released on consecutive Thursdays, concluding on 29 July.Tune-Yards’ latest album sketchy. balances self-inspection and reflection with bombastic rallying cries, reminiscent of the furious tones of early days Tune-Yards. The result is a colorful and joyous record with lyrics that cut to the bone.
