Francis Lung – Live shows next week in Manchester and London

Francis Lung has a couple of live dates next week in London (July 21 at The Victoria) and Manchester (July 24 at Deaf Institute) – these shows come in support his critically acclaimed second record, Miracle which found support last month at MOJO, Uncut, Sunday Times, Clash, FLOOD, Guardian, Times and more.

You can stream Miracle here:http://bit.ly/FrancisLungalbumstream

highlights for me are “Bad Hair Day”, “Lonesome No More” and “The Let Down”Miracle was recorded at Giant Wafer Studios in rural Wales before self-producing in collaboration with Brendan Williams (Dutch Uncles, Kiran Leonard) and Robin Koob (who co-arranged and performed strings). The opportunity to self-produce and maintain that creative control is something that plays into the album’s deeply personal themes; Miracle represents a period of introspection for Francis as he reflected on his own struggles with mental health, substance (ab)use and relationships.
