One of Jazz’s hottest new prospects, Scottish singer and songwriter Georgia Cécile is fast building a reputation as one of the UK’s finest vocalists, having just announced a London show for the 1st December 2021.

Topping the UK Jazz charts with her new debut album, and tipped as ‘One To Watch’ by BBC Introducing, Jazz FM and Jazzwise Magazine, Cécile’s stock is rising on the strength of her songwriting and live performances.

After releasing a series of singles this year, Cécile shared her debut album entitled ‘Only The Lover Sings’ on 17th September. The highly anticipated debut album showcases ten original songs featuring a lush acoustic palette of jazz quartet, Hammond organ, strings and horns.  With Cécile’s voice and storytelling as the focal point, the songs are lyrical reflections on themes of love, loss, nurture and spiritual growth. Championed by tastemakers such as Jamie Cullum and Guy Barker, featured in major playlists on all streaming, it’s a prosperous time for the young Scottish Jazz singer.

Georgia will also be performing in November, opening the prestigious London Jazz Festival with the Guy Barker Orchestra as part of the ‘Jazz Voice’ concert, which in previous years has hosted vocalists such as Jacob Collier, Paloma Faith, Gregory Porter and Corinne Bailey Rae. The infamous jazz hotspot Ronnie Scotts will also welcome Georgia in November, where she has secured a guest spot.  In previous years, Cécile has performed sell-out concerts across UK jazz festivals, notably London Jazz Festival and Cheltenham Jazz Festival.
