 Reveal New Single ‘Change’

2022 North American Tour Dates Announced

Today, Big Thief unveil ‘Change’, another gorgeous track in their catalogue, and announce a spring North American tour. Following three stunning singles – ‘Little Things’‘Sparrow’, and ‘Certainty’, ‘Change’ is intimate and evocative, and places the listener right alongside the band. Dreamy, eerie harmonies find warmth in the simple romance of Adrianne Lenker’s lyrics; their innocent hope looking to find a simple moment of peace in chaotic times.

PRAISE FOR ‘LITTLE THINGS’ / ‘SPARROW’

“There’s a warm, feral energy to ‘Little Things’… the rest of her band creates a textured, woolly atmosphere that swaddles [Lenker] like a blanket. By the middle of their rootsy jam session, she’s feeling both frustrated and free enough to let loose a cathartic primal scream.” – The New York Times

“The best band in the world right now? This is superb even by their high standards, a swinging, restless, high-tempo groove surging with perpetual motion.”  – The Guardian, #1 Film&Music Playlist

“a testament to the way love can knock us out of orbit, then spin us back toward each other.” – NPR

“[‘Little Things’ is] an intoxicating portrait of infatuation.”  – Pitchfork, Best New Track

“You could imagine ‘Little Things’ crash landing at so many turns. Instead, it glides, it shimmers. It remains in sight for just a few moments, mirage-like, a magic trick only these four can conjure.” – Stereogum

“[‘Little Things’ is] a testament to this Grammy-nominated Brooklyn quartet’s musical chemistry that the song – a whirlpool of joyful 12-string acoustic strumming, snake-like electric leads and Krivchenia’s ever-changing but powerful rhythms – not only holds together, but absolutely flies.” – Guitar World
