Ed Sheeran’s new album, ‘=’, has shot straight to No.1 on the UK’s Official Albums Chart, which not only marks Ed’s fifth consecutive UK No.1 album to date, but it also sees him score the biggest opening week sales for an album since his own 2017 LP, ‘÷’.

 Moreover, this week, Ed’s tracks ‘Shivers’, ‘Bad Habits’ and ‘Overpass Graffiti’ have charted at No.2, No.3 and No.4 respectively in the UK.

‘=’ – now surpassing 2 billion streams to date and topping charts across the globe – has seen Sheeran secure two UK No.1 singles in ‘Bad Baits’ and ‘Shivers’, which, collectively, saw Ed spend 15 weeks atop the Official Singles Chart (13 of which were consecutive weeks). Moreover, as of this week, Sheeran now has a staggering 22 songs with over one million UK chart sales (OCC).
