Fierce Panda’s Pandamonium! Festival 2022 | The Victoria Dalston
After the glorious success of the one-off covid-kicking Pandemicamonium! festival in the Autumn of 2021, fierce panda records returns to its scrubby 90’s gigging roots – remember Coldplay at the Bull & Gate? – in the new year of 2022 with the original and best Pandamonium!, the mini-festival which crashes into the depressing humdrum of the post-Christmas crush with new bands and new tunes and new year revolutions a-plenty.
The venue is The Dalston Victoria (451, Queensbridge Road, London E8 3AS) the admission is free, the vibe is vivacious. Baby, it’s cold outside but fret not, for these are gigs in blankets. and those gigs look like this:

ENJOYABLE LISTENS + DEAN MCMULLEN + HOLOCENE
A night of bendy alt.rock antics. We’ve lost Shrimp Eyes to covid but we have two newbie fierce
panda signings in the lithe shape of extravagant boompopster Enjoyable Listens and the
bittersweet murmurings of Muncie Girls’ guitarist Dean McMullen. Opening up the new New Year antics we have the grunge-jazz fun of Holocene.

TUESDAY JANUARY 11TH
THE INSTITUTES + JOHN PARRY + HEKA
A night of geographical visitations to The Victoria: The Institutes send themselves out of Coventry with their rollingly epic 90’s alt.rock anthems. John Parry powers in from the Isle Of Dogs with his gritpop chewings. HEKA come from Bristol and mine the mid-’80s musings when the bright-eyed popness of new romanticism started to fracture and darken.

A night of snappy attitudes and sassy aptitude: sarcastic South London post-punkstas ALC were recently described as being “a very, very angry Close Lobsters” which’ll do for us. Johnson’s Johnson bring their biting, Tory-baiting electropunk joy. Brighton trio Eva, Evie and Milo send out the warning signals with their bright-eyed pop frenzy.
